Brewing Coffee Operating Guidelines:

• Tips on Brewing Ground Coffee: Beginners should try multiple times to master the technique.
• Insert an empty ground coffee pod (with S.S filter), select the brew button, and preheat the pods while warming the cup.
• Use 15g of fresh coffee powder with a fine salt-like thickness. Too fine will easily clog the S.S filter, while too thick will increase the flow rate without CREMA.
• Apply appropriate pressure when compacting the coffee powder.
• Insert the empty pod + S.S filter into the machine, press the brewing button to rinse with hot water, and then start brewing coffee.

How to Regulate Water Volume:

• The large and small cup buttons can freely set the amount of water.
• Press and hold the large or small cup button until you reach your desired coffee volume, then release the button. The machine will automatically remember the current water volume for future use.

Descaling Mode:

• Descale every two months or after 300 cups.
• Use a professional coffee machine descaler or citric acid diluted with purified water (ratio of 1:10).
• Pour the mixture into the water tank and start the descaling process until the tank is completely dry.
• After descaling, rinse with purified water.

Restore Factory Settings:

• If the machine encounters a setting error, please restore the factory settings.
• Unplug the power outlet.
• Long press the large cup button without releasing it while plugging into the power outlet. After a few seconds, the machine will flash twice to indicate that the factory settings have been restored.
• The default settings are 40ml for small cup and 180ml for large cup.

• Most leaks are related to coffee powder. Clean the filter bowl promptly. Use 15g of powder and compact it properly.

Why are coffee temperatures low in the winter?

• When ambient temperature is below 10°C, the machine recommends inserting an empty pod + S.S filter rinse for the first cup to warm the cup, pod, and S.S filter.

Machine is loud when brewing coffee?

• The 19 bar pump may cause loud noise and slight vibration during initial use. This is normal and will diminish with use.

How do I set the capacity?

• Long press the large or small cup button until the coffee reaches your desired capacity. Release the button to set the capacity. Pressing the button shortly in the future will brew coffee according to the last set volume.

Why is the maximum cup height 10cm?

• The machine is suitable for cups up to 10cm (10oz) in height. It is designed as a 4-in-1 espresso machine, considering the characteristics of Americano. The drip tray needs to be removed for taller cups.
